A mistura deita-se nos buracos por onde estes animais costumam sair. Às vezes basta expor à evaporação em uma casa uma pequena porção de petróleo para desaparecerem dela todos os ratos.\r\n3.° Para livrar os animais domésticos da ação dos insetos parasitas bastam algumas fricções com água petrolizada.
